I created the Lone programming language: a Lisp for Linux that supports Linux system calls. I want to make a powerful and expressive language that can interact directly with the kernel and use all of its features. It's already capable of supporting self-contained freestanding Linux applications using a custom linker mechanism. My ultimate goal is to be able boot Linux directly into the lone interpreter. Wouldn't that be cool?

I'm passionate about Linux in general and enjoy creating free software for it. I believe in creating systems that are truly ours, that empower users like us to do anything we want with our computers. I like to reverse engineer the things I own and make free software replacements for manufacturer software.

I make new projects whenever I have an itch that needs scratching. For example, I customized a templating engine into my own static site generator, and wrote a controller for my laptop's keyboard LEDs. I also contribute to existing ones whenever I can. For example, I contributed a binary decoding feature to the ZBar QR code reader which ended up having all sorts of cool applications.
