Through the use of a fully client-side architecture using self-sovereign identity (SSI) we have a zero-knowledge architecture that ensures that operators of Tonomy ID do not ever see any personal information or access derived or direct authentication secrets. It allows people to interact directly with each other and with organizations and applications without a third party identity service involved, reducing significant discrimination, censorship, security and other privacy risks for individuals and operators themselves.
